Wilsons Auctions named Family Business of the Year at Ayrshire Business Awards
We are delighted to announce we have been named Family Business of the Year at the recent Ayrshire Business Awards.
The awards evening, which took place at Ayr Racecourse and hosted by the Ayrshire Chamber of Commerce, was a celebration of local businesses across the region.
The Family Business Award, which was sponsored by North Ayrshire Council, comes ahead of Wilsons Auctions Dalry's 20th Anniversary which will be marked with a celebration Car Auction on Tuesday 23rd October at 2pm, featuring over 300 entries from Eastern Western, Ford Credit and XBG and include spot prizes, a hog roast and drinks on arrival for customers.
Speaking of the award success, Wilsons Auctions Director & Branch Manager Gareth Wilson said, "As a company based in the local area, we are delighted to have been named Family Business of the Year at the Ayrshire Business Awards and I would like to commend all of our dedicated staff for their contribution to the business over the years.
"We will be continuing the celebrations over the next week as we mark the 20th Anniversary of Wilsons Auctions operating in Dalry. We would like to invite our customers down to the Car Auction on 23rd October to help us mark the milestone which has seen the branch grow from strength to strength over the years," he added.
Val Russell, Chief Executive at Ayrshire Chamber of Commerce, said: "My congratulations to all the winners at this year's Ayrshire Business Awards, what a thoroughly great night it was. Chatting with the judging panel it was obvious just how difficult a job they had in selecting a winner from each category due to the extremely high standard of entry. I'd like to thank all of the judges led by Chairs, Walter Smith and Gail Anderson for giving their time and expertise to the Ayrshire Business Awards. Thanks also to our sponsors for their continued support in making the Awards the continued success it is."
