Wilsons Auctions awarded at Energia Family Business Awards

We were awarded Silver in the Innovative Family Business category.

Wilsons Auctions has been awarded Silver in the Innovative Family Business category at the inaugural Energia Family Business Awards.

The ceremony, which took place on Friday 24th May at the Mansion House in Dublin, showcased the best of Irish family businesses from SME to multinational and was attended by Wilsons Auctions Director Ricky Wilson and Dublin Branch Manager, Jason Delaney who collected the award.

The awards were developed to showcase the success of Irish family businesses and highlight the impact of their businesses both in their own communities, nationally and beyond.

Wilsons Auctions has been working on significant innovation over the past year to develop and introduce cryptocurrency auctions on behalf of its government and law enforcement clients, successfully hosting the world’s first Bitcoin auction by a private auction company.

Being recognised for this award is testament to the hard work carried out by Wilsons Auctions, as a family business it strives to offer new and innovative services across the group by continuously improving its offering while targeting a global market.

Wilsons Auctions’ new crypto asset service is continuing to achieve recognition having been awarded Excellence in Innovation at the recent Belfast Telegraph Business Awards as well as the Innovation & Technology Award at the National Turnaround, Restructuring & Insolvency Awards in London back in November.

The company is currently shortlisted in the National Family Business Awards for Technology & Innovation, WalesOnline Digital Awards for Innovation and Irish News Workplace & Employment Awards for Employer for the Future.
