Wilsons Auctions recognised at the recent South Dublin County Business Awards
Wilsons Auctions has been named Best Family-Owned & Managed Business at the recent South Dublin County Business Awards.
The awards evening, which took place at the Citywest Hotel and hosted by the South Dublin Chamber, was a celebration of all that is good within the business community in South Dublin County.
Wilsons Auctions received the Best Family-Owned & Managed Business Award, sponsored by Crowe, in recognition of its success and sustainable growth as a family business within the South Dublin region.
Speaking of the award success, Wilsons Auctions' Head of Irish Operations, Ricky Wilson said, "Within such a strong category of very well-known and respected family owned and managed businesses, I am humbled and delighted that Wilsons Auctions has won. This award is testament to the great work put in by the entire team at Wilsons Auctions.
"Our Dublin branch provides the largest and busiest auction footprint in the Republic of Ireland, holding regular auctions and attracting a national and international buyer base due to the volume and variation of stock sold on behalf of government and law enforcement agencies as well as trade and private buyers and sellers," he added.
A family owned business, Wilsons Auctions was formed in 1936 in Northern Ireland and has grown to become the largest independent Auction Company in the British Isles with sites in the Republic of Ireland, Northern Ireland, England, Scotland and Wales.
Wilsons Auctions currently holds over 2,000 auctions annually and has the expertise to auction everything from general goods, cars, vans, plant and machinery to land and property and luxury items including planes, supercars, designer goods and prestigious watches.
