Wilsons Auctions achieves 100% sale rate for Bord Na Móna

270 Lots of surplus machinery were auctioned at the company’s site in Co. Offaly

Wilsons Auctions has successfully achieved a 100% sale rate on behalf of Bord Na Móna with its auction of surplus to requirement machinery on Saturday 14th September at the company’s Blackwater site in Co. Offaly.

A range of machinery, across 270 Lots, were auctioned on the day and bidding was open to both physical and online bidders, resulting in over 1,000 people participating in the auction from across Ireland, the UK and internationally.

The auction proved a great success with hammer totals setting records so far this year across the industry. Highlights included:

1995 Fiat-Agri 160-90 4WD Tractor - €15,750 plus VAT (at 23%)
1998 Fiat-Agri New Holland 4WD Tractor - €13,500 plus VAT
2003 Hitachi EX165 Excavator C/W Tracks - €18,500 plus VAT
1991 Ford 8630 4WD Tractor - €13,500 plus VAT
1999 Masset Ferguson 4225 4WD Tractor - €8,400 plus VAT
