Exclusive 1991 Singe Malt becomes available at Wilsons Auctions this August
‘The Devil’s Keep’, also known as the most expensive debut whiskey ever, is listed in Wilsons Auctions’ Online Luxury Goods Auction catalogue taking place 11 – 15 August.
With only 333 exclusive bottles released by the Craft Irish Whiskey Company in 2020, the bottle was sold-out in record time. The Devil’s Keep is now winning awards across the board for taste, design and packaging.
The Devil’s Keep is a 29 year old, triple-distilled whiskey that has been aged in rare casks to create one of the most unusual flavour profiles to come out of Ireland. The liquid was aged in first fill American oak casks before a second maturation in rare French Oak barrels that held tawny port and a final finish in virgin Hungarian oak. The result is a decadent whiskey that offers hints of vanilla, caramel, toasted sugar and the rich smokiness of toasted oak staves.
The Devil exacts the highest price for an exceptional whiskey; one of the rarest and oldest triple distilled and triple casked single malt Irish whiskeys.

While there has been tremendous effort put into the whiskey itself, the Craft Irish Whiskey Co. has one eye firmly on the investment market. The value of collectible whiskey has gone through the roof in the last decade with Scottish distilleries taking the lion’s share of the growth.

This is a private sale and the presentation of the bottle is in A Class Condition, as new – and the bottle has certainly not been opened!

Potential bidders will have a large window of opportunity to bid online before the auction closes at 11am GMT on Tuesday 15th August. Bidding will be open to the public and will be online only.
