Due to recent expansion Wilsons Auctions Group, the largest independently owned auction house in the UK and Ireland, currently has exciting opportunities in England / Wales within our Commercial Department. We are looking for experienced candidates for a Business Development and Account Management role within the department to include Plant, Machinery, HGV and LCV.
The successful candidate will be working in a fast paced and ever changing environment as well as having the opportunity to train as an auctioneer.
The role will involve but not be limited to:
- Developing new customer leads and relationships
- Improving and maintaining current customer relationships
- Auctioneering (once training is completed)
The ideal candidate should have the following skills and attributes:
- Minimum of two years’ experience in a business development / sales environment (Plant, Machinery, HGV or LCV experience is essential)
- Highly motivated and well organised
- Good attention to detail
- Ability to deal with staff and customers at all levels Good level of IT literacy
- Flexible attitude to working hours Sales and target driven
- Ability to work as part of a team and on their own initiative
