Auction Support

Wilsons Auctions are the largest independently owned auction house in the UK & Ireland. We currently have a requirement in our Newport Branch for a full time Auction Support Assistant to work the below hours in our Government Contracts Department.

The successful candidate will be based at the above site and duties will include the following:

  • Inputting details into auction system
  • Dealing with the public to answer general enquiries
  • General administration
  • Photography of assets
  • Processing assets for auction
  • General Disposal hall maintenance and upkeep

The ideal applicant should meet the following essential criteria:

  • Well organised with an eye for detail
  • Good level of IT literacy
  • Hands on approach to work
  • Have good customer relationship skills
  • Be able to work as part of a team
  • Be able to work within deadlines
  • Flexible attitude to working hours
  • Hold a full clean UK driving licence

Preferable but not essential criteria:

  • Police Clearance
  • Forklift Licence

Hours of work: Monday to Friday 9.00am - 5.30pm with additional hours as required
