Wilsons Auctions, long associated with Northern Ireland, spread its wings to mainland UK, opening a new auction complex at Dalry, near Glasgow, in October 1998. The site comprises of 18 acres and features "back-to-back" car auction halls and further auction rooms to dispose of office furniture, liquidations and commercial vehicles and equipment, state of the art office facilities and a recently opened restaurant.

Buying
The auction facility in Dalry is the "premier specialist Car Auction complex in Scotland". Over 35,000 vehicles are placed under the hammer every year in two purpose built auction halls. We are retained by the majority of the major fleet users and financial institutions for the remarketing of their vehicles in Scotland by way of our Fleet Sales Programme.
Selling
There is a £33 entry fee charged each time the vehicle goes through an auction; once a vehicle sells however, there is one entry fee charged plus 5% commission. The minimum commission charged is £40 which is comes into effect if the vehicle is sold for £800 or under. Simply bring the vehicle along with all relevant documentation (V5 Registration Book, MOT if applicable and Tax Disk if you wish to dispose of the road tax with the car) and we shall enter the details into our system and allocate it to the next available auction. We can accept entries right up until the start on the sale on Tuesday and Thursday night at 7pm.
